| FMHW turn protest dharna into hunger strike | | |

Kathua , July 9: The protest dharna of the female Multipurpose Health Workers ( FMHW)has turned into hunger strike to give strength to their unaddressed demand for job placement under NRHM in district Kathua.
The protest was being held by the Female Multipurpose Health Workers for the last twenty two days and now has taken aggressive face against the district health department and the district administrations for conducting the bungling in the selection list of FMHW under the NRHM scheme in last year.
Pritima Billoria and Priyanka Chib both sat on hunger strike from today to mature their protest in favour of their demand to make the fare selection of FMHW under the NRHM scheme.
In this context the resenting protestors blamed the district health department and district administration for not acting upon their commitment with the protestors which had been made in the last year under the supervision of DC of that period Sanjeev Verma along with health department.
They warned the entire administration if their demand will not be solved amicably then administration should get ready to face the dire consequences
