JAMMU, July 09: Believe it or not, but it is a fact that those working committee members of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), who boycotted the election process at Srinagar, claimed their TA/DA at the same day. With their pockets full of JKCA money reimbursed on producing the list of expenses incurred on their visit to the Valley, they strongly criticized Dr Farooq Abdullah led body on their return to Jammu. While former chairman of JKCA, Ashutosh Sharma, who led the protestors in Jammu terming the elections as `fake and fraudulent’, claimed maximum of Rs 18,195 as TA/DA. The list of such beneficiaries of the JKCA elections accessed by SAN reflects that the lowest amount presented to these Jammu based members was Rs 14,000. Among those members, who claimed Rs 14,000 as TA/DA was Chairman J&K Legislative Council, Amrinder Singh Micky. He represented Rehari Cricket Club in these elections. However, another former chairman of JKCA and captain, Mehboob Iqbal and former general secretary, ML Nehru did not claim any money.
