| Bhim given welcome on return from China | | | JAMMU NOV 26 Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Chairman Prof Bhim Singh was accorded warm welcome by his party workers, taxi union leaders, shopkeepers and public at large on his return from 10-day peaceful mission to China. Large number of his supporters thronged the railway station to welcome their leader and raised slogans ‘Sher-e-Jammu Bhim Singh Zindabad’. Talking to media persons at the railway station, Prof Singh was optimistic to suggest that the political vacuum caused due to the break of USSR, India and China can fill this vacuum and create powers in the whole universe adding that people of China have great interest in India’s political and economic development. He expressed the hope that Lahasa-Leh route will be opened in near future, which will generate trade and tourism between the two neighbouring countries. Prof Singh said that Chinese as a whole want to come closer to India in all fields adding that this has been reflected by the statement of the Chinese President made in Delhi.
