| Chief Justice inspects Budgam courts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, July 9 (KNS): Acting Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice F M Ibrahim Kalifulla paid a surprise visit to the District Courts at Budgam today.
The Chief Justice checked some files of the Courts and went around the entire Court premises including record room and Malkhana. He issued on-the-spot directions to the Judicial Staff for proper upkeep and maintenance of the record room and Malkhana. He asked Deputy Commissioner Budgam for providing basic infrastructure and proper renovation of the Court complex wherever required.
The Bar members also highlighted some problems being faced by them to the Chief Justice. During interaction with the Bar members of the Bar, the Chief Justice exhorted upon the lawyers to render all assistance to the Judges in dispensation of administration of justice. He assured them that their genuine demands would be looked into and redressed on merits.
The Chief Justice was accompanied by the Registrar General of the High Court Janak Raj Kotwal, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice Abdul Wahid and Registrar, Vigilance High Court Kartar Singh.
