| Stage set for interlocutors round table conference in Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 10
: After completing round of marathon meetings across various district headquarters in the state the three member team of centre's interlocutors are all set to host much hyped round table conference for the first time here in Jammu from Monday.
A similar exercise was carried out by them in the Kashmir valley in the month of April.
The three member team of interlocutors headed by noted journalist Dileep Padgaonkar is already touring the state to illicit responses of various stakeholders towards resolving the issue of Kashmir.
During their formal and informal interaction with the galaxy of people belonging to different shades of opinion the interlocutors have already made it clear that they are working on the resolution of the issue through means of dialogue.
Official sources said, "during the two day long round table conference in Jammu the interlocutors are expected to deliberate on the possible contours of the final draft of the report and share the feedback gathered during their previous rounds of meetings".
The interlocutors are expected to submit their final report to the Union Home Ministry in September.
The interlocutors were appointed last year in the month of October to listen to the aspirations of the people of all three regions and suggest the resolution of the issue after taking view point of all the stakeholders on board.
Interestingly, as the year long exercise is reaching its final culmination stage the interlocutors are yet to hold parleys with the separatist groups. All they have till now is the collection of statements of various Hurriyat Conference leaders and their stated position on the issue.
