JURSEA demands stipend for M.Phil, Ph.D holders | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 10: Jammu University Research Scholar’s Executive Association (JURSEA) demanded Chief Minister should fulfill his promises by granting stipend to M.phil degree holders, to the PhD degree holders’ and unemployed youth, here today.
Addressing the media persons JURSEA president Rakesh Chib said that we demanded the enhancement of scholarship amount Rs.20000/month of scholarship to every scholar to get into a successful research in their respective field, SSRB selection through written tests instead of interviews system for the sake of transparency, enhancement of age limit up to 42 years for recruitment in government jobs.
Chib further also demands from the state govt. to give equal participation in SSRB/PSC recruitment to all three regions, to create maximum post in Jammu University and off sites Campuses and give preference to the scholar/ Student of Jammu University, to strengthen the University of Jammu in order to generate it own human recourses and To grant equal employment packages to all three region without discriminating.
JURSEA member have demanded for well academician and local V.C for the central university of Jammu. Rakesh Chib said that this clearly shows that Jammu people are being neglected and JURSEA will start agitation in this regard. Among those who were present on the occasion included Vishal Pathania, Anupa Sharma, Sunny Babber, Rahul and Suresh beside others.
