Anti-Obesity awareness drive launched by VLCC.
50 pc discount announced

In keeping with its pioneering role in the Indian Wellness Industry, VLCC launched its health movement 80-90 campaign as part of its Anti-obesity awareness drive.Former chief minister and member Parliament, Farooq Abdullah, was the chief guest on the occasion. The campaingh reiterates VLCC commitment to make India an obesity free country and 26th nov was observed by VLCC as the Anti-Obesity Day.
On the occasion ,farooq, said that the new generation is is fast in developing the bad eating habits like the use of fast food and the cold drinks which is not good for them in the long run. He further said that we must keep an check on eating habits and should take only healthy food which is recommended by the doctors.
He further added that nowadays obesity is the major health problem in the world and especially it is fast growing in our country because of taking food which contains too fat and protein and can cause heart attack, High Blood pressures,and other related diseases. Obsety has been termed a silent killer by the WHO and is fast becoming an epidemic that needs urgent attention ,especially in urban India. It is estimated that nearly 15 percent of the country”s adult population is a victim of this disease.,which is a direct fallout of sedentary lifestyles and inappropriate eating habits
VLCC announced 50% discount on all packages from 26th nov to 28th nov and a free Health check up camp was also organized. Others who were present on the occasion include Ram sahai, President ,CCI, Fareeda Mir,MLC, Arun Gupta ,Director ,VLCC, M.Y.Taing,writer and others.
