Tourism in the state cannot flourish unless and until, the terrorism be rooted out of the state . He further said that, from the last 17 years the state of Jammu and Kashmir is facing the brunt of militancy and several thousand people were killed by the militants for no fault of theirs. He further said that no doubt Tourist industry is the backbone of the economy of the state, but that does not mean that we should do wrong with our people by giving land on lease to the Non- State subjects which is the wrong precedent set by this govt.
