| National level group exhibition opens at Kala Kendra | | |

JAMMU, July 11:
J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Pegasus Foundation, Hyderabad today threw open a group exhibition of National level at Kala Kendra, Jammu.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, was chief guest on the occasion.
Sanjeev Verma, appreciated the creative expressions of the painters and lauded the endeavor of the State Academy to bring artists from different States under one umbrella.
In such programme, the artists have an opportunity to interact with one another. Those who participate in the exhibition were ND Jamwal, TS Batra, Bhushan Kesar, OP. Sharma, Rohit Verma and Veerji Sumbly all from Jammu while S/Sheri Ashok Ganguly, Gautam Sarkar,. Sarbani Ganuly, Dhiren Sasmal and Palash Paul were representing Kolkata. Pritma Singh has represented Lucknow (U.P).
The work of Veteran Artist from Andhra Pradesh Chandana Khan was also displayed in the exhibition. A galaxy of prominent Citizens, Painters like Prof Rita Jitendra, Ashok Mehra ,Choudhary Mohd. Atif, Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and M. L. Goja, Dy. Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan were also present on the occasion.
The whole event was extended under the guidance of Additional Secretary, Jammu Savita Bakshi and overall supervision of Ashok Gupta, Estate officer, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu.
