| NPSU holds protest against GCET authorities | | |

JAMMU, July 11:
National Panther Students Union (NPSU) today held a massive demonstration at GCET Head Office (Old University Campus) under the leadership of Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial President NPSU) against date sheet of 4th Semester Engineering issued by the JU according to the dates recommended by the Principal of GCET.
Students of various engineering colleges gathered at Old University Campus and approached the principal GCET along with the leaders of NPSU.
They apprised principal of their demands but the principal refused them to consider their demands due to which the gathering started raising slogans against the principal of GCET.
Addressing the gathering Partap Singh Jamwal said that the demands of the said students of genuine and administration should immediately take necessary action to address the grievances of the students. He said that if the adamant attitude of principal remains same, the students will be forced to take such steps which will not be favourable for the authorities and the concerned authorities would be responsible for that.
Earlier aggrieved students along with the NPSU leaders meet Controller of Exam, JU where the controller of examination assured them of full cooperation if principal of GCET forwards them the new dates for exams of the engineering students of 4th Semester.
