| PDP protests poor electricity supply, holds demonstration | | |

JAMMU, July 11:
Jammu West unit of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) today held a protest demonstration against the state government especially the Power Development Department (PDD) for discriminating with the residents of Toph Sherkhanian.
Led by its Jammu west president Puneet Jamwal, a large number of workers of PDD assembled outside the office of Chief Engineer of Power Development Department here today and raised slogans against it.
While speaking on the occasion Puneet Jamwal alleged that the resident of Tophsherkhania were facing electrical problem and due to which their electrical appliances like TV, computers, freezers etc have got burn.
Puneet Jamwal also said that the proper compensation should be given to the suffered public as the public have this could have approached to Divisional Engineer before the Govt. and all this could have been avoided.
