| Socio-economic survey by National Sample Survey starts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, July 12: The National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Field Operation Division, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Govt. of India, Regional Office, Srinagar has started conducting of socio-economic survey of NSS 68th round on ‘employment and unemployment and consumer expenditure’ including survey on Ayush from July 11, 2011.
The socio-economic survey is an instrument in developing a strong database on various socio-economic parameters which have helped the Central as well as State Govts in development planning and policy formulations.
The success of socio-economic surveys NSS 68th round depends to a great extent on the quality of the response from public.
The field investigators and officers of the NSSO, Srinagar may be approaching people for necessary help to get required reliable raw data. This office is requesting to extend all kind of cooperation to field investigators and officers and provide correct and complete information.
