RNWA demands establishment of hospital | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 12: A deputation of Roop Nagar Welfare Association led by its president O.P. Kesar called on Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Garden, Parks and Floriculture Department Sham Lal Sharma requesting him for sanction of a hospital in the locality for health care of the inhabitants as area from Sarwal to Kot Bhalwal is without this facility and proposed hospital can cater to the needs of ]anipur, Gujjaral, Jad, Basant Nagar, Paloura, Patoli, Buta Nagar, Lower Roop Nagar, Muthi Durga Nagar Chinore, Bantalab and other adjoining areas. The Minister heard to the demands very patiently and assured the deputation for a positive action at his end. Besides Green Belt Park at Roop Nagar is in shabby condition, JDA having control over the park since 1984 has proved incompetent to maintain the same. A request was made for maintenance of the same by the department of Parks Garden and Floriculture. The Minister is likely to take over this park from floriculture department for its maintenance as soon as it got transferred from JDA. The deputation comprised of Uttam Sharma, J.N.Ralli, Gulab Chand Bhagat, Mulakh Raj Sharma, J.L. Trackroo, Shadi LAL Sethi, Anand Kishore, P.N.Raina, Ashok Gupta and Nand Lal Bhat.
