Jammu. July 12:- Manjeet Singh Jatt, PYC leader today called on by Mani Shankar Aiyar-MP, senior Congress leader & chairman Panchayati Raj AlCC at government Guest House Jammu.
During meeting Singh discussed various issues pertaining to J&K with Aiyar and briefed him about the Panchayati election recently held in the state and also congratulated him.
Singh also requested Aiyar to take initiative to implement 73rd & 74th amendment of Indian Constitution referring to provide more powers to Panchayats and municipalities in J &K State, as it is the demand of people of the state.
Mani Shankar Aiyar listened to all the demands and assured that he will take up the matter to the party high command for early redressal and betterment of the people of the state.
