| J&K Bank Northern India TT Championship concludes | | |

SRINAGAR, JUNE 12:
The 6-day J&K Bank Northern India Table Tennis Championship 2010-11 today concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, Minister for Youth Services and Sports R. S. Chib was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Minister said organizing such events would provide opportunities to the locals youth of participation and interaction with the players from across the country. He hoped that the participants would become the ambassadors of the state and convey message of peace, harmony and friendship, the real motto of the championship. He felicitated the organizers for organising the mega event in the state.
In all, 1690 matches of various categories were played during the championship.
The Minister gave away cash prizes, medals and certificates among winners.
Among others, Chairman J&K Bank Mushtaq Ahmad, Vice-President Table Tennis Federation of India and Commissioner Secretary, Finance Mr Sudanshu Panday, Secretary General, Table Tennis Federation of India Mr D R Choudhary, Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal, besides participant players and sports lovers were also present on the occasion.
