| Shiv Sena demands proper security cover for Amarnath yatries | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 12: Death toll has gone as high as forty one from the day of commencement of Shri Amarnath Yatra.
It appears there may be some special reason otherwise this number of death cannot be justified by any stretch of imagination.
Govt. has not initiated any proper measure to find out the reason of large number of casualty.
If number has gone upto forty one casualties and this process continues the number will exceeds limits which cannot be justify.
This was stated by Shiv Sena President Ashok Gupta in a press release issued here today.
He said that the previous years’ experience shows that bad weather and oxygen level is not a new factor. Hence not only white paper is issued about the causes of the existing number which may be higher.
Judicial inquiry by sitting judge of the High Court be initiated to find out the truth and reason for so many causalities, he demanded.
A team of good number of doctors be also strengthen with all medical facilities, including (small oxygen cylinders also) in both routes of the Yatra.
Ashok Gupta President Shiv Sena expressed deep sympathy to the families of all deceased and paid homage to departed souls.
