| Equestrian show enthralls audience | | |

Equestrian, the sport of adventure was in full display with the best breed of horses galloping in various events in the backyard of Trikuta Officers Institute Nagrota, under aegis of Supply and Transport Branch. The event was inaugurated by Lt Gen TK Sapru, YSM, The General Officer Commanding of White Knight Corps. Ace national level riders participated in tent pegging, show jumping and trick riding. Prominent participants were Col Ranbir Singh Yadav, Lt Ashok Chin Chinwar and Nb Sub Ranjit Singh, these riders exhibited their magnificent control over the rides by smooth crossing over the Jumps and mesmerised the spectators by their riding skills.
The horse show was followed by an Army dog show. The Army dogs, who have been doing commendable service in militantancy infested Jammu and Kashmir, have also garnered several awards for their services. Different breed of dogs displayed their skills in the show, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release. |
