| Hakim addresses people in Khan Sahib | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Budgam, July 13 (KNS): MLA, Khansahib, Hakim Mohammad Yaseen today said that the State Government should intensify its fight against the burning issue of corruption, so that the people of the state can get rid from the corrupt elements. He said, there is no doubt, that the present Government has already taken a number of steps to curb the menace of corruption under the young and dynamic leadership of Omar Abudllah, but still there is a need to take more steps for its eradication for a healthy society.
Hakim was today addressing a large gathering at Harduwal-Khansahib.
On this occasion, a large number of people of this village and surrounding areas put forth their demands and problems before the MLA for early redressal. Mr Yasseen assured the people that he will take up these genuine demands with the concerned higher authorities for early settlement. He also said that all the link roads approaching towards the Harduwale-Khansahib would be macadamized soon. He also urged upon the Officers to redress the grievances of the common people so that they may not feel isolated.
Hakim also, on the occasion, paid rich tributes to all those Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in 1931.
