| Peoples participation important for implementation of developmental schemes in the District | | DDC Kishtwar convenes Public Darbar at GHSS Palmar | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, JULY 13- With the aim to reach out and redress the grievances of the poor people living in far flung areas of Kishtwar at their doorsteps, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mr. M.H Malik today convened a Public Darbar at Government Higher Secondary School Palmar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mr. G.N Balwan, Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mr. N.A Shah, Chief Planning Officer Kishtwar Mr. Y.P Bhagat, Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Mr. Ajeet Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar Dr. Ajay Gupta, District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kishtwar, Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kishtwar , Assistant Regional Transport Officer Kishtwar, AD CAPD Kishtwar , XEn PDD Division Kishtwar, Xen PWD (R&B) Division Bhaderwah, Xen Irrigation Kishtwar, newly elected Sarpanches and Panches of respective panchayats besides various other District and Sectoral Officers were also present in the Darbar.
DDC Kishtwar was given enthusiastic and rousing reception by the people of the area enroute to the venue of Darbar. The District administration was appreciated by the people on the occasion also for proactive redressal of their genuine problems .Various issues and demands were put forth by the representatives on the occasion which includes Construction of adequate accommodation for Government Higher Secondary School Palmar, Blacktopping of Palmar road, Providing of adequate Teaching and Non-teaching staff in various schools including GHSS Palmar, construction of various other link roads, up gradation/ augmentation of existing Water Supply schemes in these areas for adequate drinking water supply, Improvement of electric supply which includes installation of transformers and electric poles and other allied equipments, Implementation of Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture and other developmental and beneficial schemes in the area on priority basis , Providing of good quality timber in the forest sale depots at affordable rates, timely availability of ration , adequate transport facility from Palmar – Kishtwar, besides these various other issues also came up during the darbar.
DDC Kishtwar gave patient hearing to the demands of the people on the occasion and issued on spot instructions to the concerned officers to mitigate their genuine demands. |
