Weather Forecast: Rain/thundershowers expected during next 5 days

SRINAGAR, July 13: As per the available weather forecast for the next 5 days, from July 14 to July 18, light rain and thundershowers are expected in the Kashmir Division.
According to the forecast provided by the Meteorological Department, light rain/thundershowers are expected on 14, 16 and 18 July and rain/thundershowers are likely on July 17, 2011. On July 15, the sky will remain partly cloudy in the Kashmir division. R K Goyal, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, has reiterated that all those who intend to visit the holy cave Shrine of Shri Amarnathji should ascertain the to-date weather conditions in the Yatra area before embarking on the pilgrimage. The details of weather forecast are available on the website (www.amssdelhi.gov.in) of the Indian Meteorological Department.
Meanwhile, Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Amarnathji has been progressing satisfactorily, on both the Chandanwari and Baltal routes.
