| Police tightens noose over illegal parking, starts drive | | | EARLY TINES REPORT
Rajouri, July 13 :
Following large scale complaints of illegal parking and acute traffic jam in Rajouri town, police and traffic authorities in a joint operation launched a drive to improve the parking scenario in the city. The authorities are using Krane to lift wrongly parked vehicles and warned the people not to park vehicles in Gujjar Mandi area.
As per reports, Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarter Mohammad Rashid and Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Khalid Amin along with special Krane held special drive at Gujjar Mandi area where some vehicles were lifted and taken to the Police Station.
As the road is already narrow, people were complaining that vehicles parked in front of J&K Bank area create problem for them following which traffic and police authorities took this step.
Police said that no person will be spared if his vehicle found parked at wrong place in the Gujjar Mandi or any other area on the road. They said that the vehicle will be lifted and people must take preventive measures to avoid Krane drive in future.
