| Skill and development training programme of NABARD concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, July 13: Under the skill and development training program at least 30 women from different villages of Ghat block in Doda district schedule caste (SC) and schedule tribe (ST) were imparted cutting and tailoring trade which was sponsored by NABARD.
The program was launched two months ago and was organized by Diamond Youth Club Ghat Doda (an NGO).
During the training course, the ladies were given latest techniques and knowledge about the trade by the experts,
The main aims and objectives of this training is to train the down trodden women folk in the trade to prepare them to get self sufficient for generating income avenues and livelihood.
Incharge DDO NC Parell and president Diamond Youth Club Najeeb-ul-Rehman Wani delivered the lecture on the occasion about this training program and thanked the participants for taking keen interest in the two month long training program.
