| JD Fashion institute students to participate In JD Awards show 2011 | | |  Early times Report
JAMMU, July 13: 17 selected students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology Jammu are leaving for Delhi to participate in JD Annual Design Awards 2011 which is to be held at Florian (F Bar and Lounge) Saket Metro Mall, Delhi.
There are 25 garments designed by JD Jammu students which will be showcased by international models at the fashion show.
The JD annual design awards are the time when one puts them into practice and prepares an entire collection, just like a working fashion and design professional.
It is the biggest opportunity for the students who have been given rigorous training of design and manufacturing to showcase their training and talent through their creations.
Speaking on the occasion Maansi Gupta, centre director said that JD Jammu is living up to its commitment of providing students with national level exposure and recognition as was promised to the students of JD Jammu.
