DPN pays homage to martyrs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 13: J&K Democratic Party of Nationalist (DPN) organizes a blood donation camp simultaneously at Srinagar and Jammu in which large number of party workers donated the blood to pay homage the Martyrs of 13th July 1931. Those who donated blood include Provincial president, General Secretary’s, District presidents, block Presidents and other workers of the party. Besides volunteers of different walks of life also participated in the blood donation camp and donated the blood with the aim to pay glowing tributes the Martyrs of J&K. As many as 30 blood points have been donated during one hour by workers of the party at Sher-i-Kashmir park at Srinagar this morning. Similarly, the blood pints were donated by the workers at Jammu also. Speaking on the occasion, President DPN, Ghulam Hassan Mir said that “it is the endeavor of the party to carry forward Martyrs noble mission for laying the edifice for democracy and human dignity in the state”. He said the best way to pay homage to the Martyrs to work in unity to mitigate the sufferings of the poor and down trodden people of our society. He said that martyrs mission was to develop a society based on justice and principals so that every section of the society would get their uniform share in education, health care and other development activities. Appealing the people to come forward for making J&K a peaceful state, Mir said ‘we should resolve to fight injustice of all kinds and work for common cause of the welfare of the people’. Earlier, party workers of DPN under the leadership President Gh. Hassan Mir paid rich tributes to Martyrs at Mazar-i- Shuhda, Nakashband Sahib (RA) and offered fateh khawani this morning.
