| SDP comes in support of Sonologist clinics | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 14: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) came out in support of the trained private Sonologists’ whose clinics have been closed by the government, here today.
Addressing the media persons SDP president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that the outright ban on the clinics has no justification.
“If some black sheep made us shameful by misusing their technical facilities, what justification it carries to close all clinics,” she added.
She said that sub standard medicines are sold on majority of our chemist’s shops, then why doesn’t government close all medical stores.
She further said that punishing the criminals was all welcome but snatching bread and butter from the trained and certified technocrats was also shameful SDP president asked to government to revoke the ban on private sonography clinics immediately.
She maintained that the closure of these clinics has created problems for the public. She said that during her recent meeting with the Governor she had presented this case before him and he had assured her that he will convince the ministry to revoke the order.
