| CDM holds commemoratory function on 58th anniversary of Com Dhanwantri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 14: Comrade Dhanwantri Manch (CDM) held a commemoratory function on the 58th anniversary of Comrade Dhanwantri- a freedom fighter here today.
State General Secretary of the Manch Hari Chand Jalmeria threw light on the life of Comrade Dhanwantri and said that he participated in number of militant operations against the British rulers and was also imprisoned for life in Kalapani jail, where he was subjected due to ill treatment which amounted to fall in his health.
He said that Comrade lived and died for socialism in India and was a member of Hindustan Republican Association.
He further said that the prevalent corruption, unemployment and mal-administration in India is because India did not follow the path which was set by Comrade Dhanwantir, Bhagat Singh, Chander Sheikher Azad. They said that the unfinished caused needs to be finish.
Many others participated in the function included Parduman Singh Jindrayia a renowned Dogri poet, K.K. Koushal, Dr. L.D. Shashtri, Dr. Dhani Ram, Gopal Sharma, Shri Harbind Singh, Shri Swarn Singh, Shri Romesh Sharma, Mohd. Ramzan, Arbind Singh.
