| CBI enquiry should be conducted in financial bungling by JKCA: JYF | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 14: In a meeting of Jammu Youth Forum held here under the leadership of its President Sandeep Singh Chib discussed on the various issues and demanded CBI enquiry in the financial bungling taking place in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
Sandeep Singh Chib President JYF took a strong note of the elevated claims made by the chairman with regard to initiating development work of the proposed Cricket Stadium at Bajalta, Jammu and deteriorating in the same.
He further said that no such proposal has yet been taken by the JKCA and added that Jammu has always been neglected by the authorities and the same is happening yet again, as JKCA has well-known Cricket Academy in Kashmir and nil in Jammu
He further alleged that the recently conducted election were just a cover to hide from view the financial clumsy by the chairman during his last term.
Meanwhile, reacting to the clarifications made by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association that 30 prominent Jammu based cricketers were made the members of various sub-committees, Sandeep Chib said that Goni has made the Jammu based members’ puppets in the hands of Kashmir centric Central Secretariat of JKCA and at the same time named himself chairman of just about all the sub-committees in an tyrannical way.
JYF members appealed the JKCA president, Dr Farooq Abdullah and the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to look into the matter seriously and save the association from hijackers, who are hell-bent upon to defame the organization and spoil it in the dirt of politics.
