| ABVP vows to continue protest against delay in CU | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 14: Continuing it protest against delay in the initiation of the functioning of Jammu Central University and issue of appointment of VC for Jammu Central University, ABVP Science college unit today held a strong protest demonstration in Science College.
ABVP activates led by Raggav Sharma, Sect., and G.G.M. Sc. College. ABVP unit gathered at main gate and resented strongly against the negligence of the state as well as Central Govt. to show interest to make the JCU functional.
Students raised slogans against UPA led Congress Govt. in general and HRD ministry in particular which continuously is playing with the emotions of the student community of Jammu.
Addressing the students Raghav Sharma alleged the UPA Govt. for its discriminatory attitude regarding making Central University functioning.
He further raised that till now there is no conformation of land, nothing about appointment of VC. This is injustice with the future of students of Jammu. This is the issue of future of students and ABVP will not allow anybody to play with the future of any student.
He asked the students that only students can resolve this matter of delay of functions of Central Univ. Jammu when they will come on roads and show their strength.
So he demanded that until the convened authorities take any steps regarding this matter, ABVP will continue its struggle and appealed the student community to fight for the cause of Jammu. He also added that ABVP will not allow administration to start classes until this issue is resolve
