EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 14: “Sansad Gherao” programme under “Delhi Chalo slogan” is receiving overwhelming response from the youth in particular across the country.
It is expected that about two lakh youth will assemble at Ram Leela Ground of New Delhi to take part in this march towards Parliament.
This was stated by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha ( BJYM) national vice-president Pawan Khajuria while addressing a high level meeting of Morcha’s state office bearers, district presidents and district general secretaries at Shastri Nagar on Thursday.
Pawan Khajuria, who has also been bestowed with the responsibility as national convenor for the said programme, said that during the past few days he has visited a number of state capitals and there has been very positive response to the BJYM’s scheduled August 9 Sansad Gherao call under Delhi Chalo slogan.
The youth in particular has understood that it is the BJP and its youth wing which have been continuously raising the issues related to the survival of a common in view of the price rise, corruption and black money.
While the Congress has adopted a stoic silence over these issues for the sake of power, we have taken up a number of programmes over the issues through various modes and on August 9 next month, over 2 lakh youth from all over the country are expected to reach Delhi to register massive protest against these burning issues.
BJYM state president Munish Sharma, while briefing the programme National Convenor about the preparations made so far, said that convenors at the state, district and mandal levels have been nominated.
They have been regularly visiting districts and mandals to chair meetings with a motive to ensure participation of maximum youth from the state.
He assured that not only morcha activists but youth from the general masses will also be leaving alongwith them for Delhi to take part in the scheduled programme and the number is expected to touch five thousand.
He said that BJYM in the state has always taken a lead in raising the problems of the youth and it is reason that today maximum youth are looking towards morcha with high hopes.
