Expressing anger and anguish over the anti-India statement of the separatist leader Syed Ali shah Geelani, Janta Party activists under the leadership of its state president Som Nath Dabgotra at Gandhi Nagar today hold protest demonstration where the activists of Janta Party raised slogans against the separatist leader. They raised slogans like Geelani Hai Hai, Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Pakistani Kute Hai Hai, etc.
Dabgotra ,speaking on the occasion, said that Syed Ali Shah Geelani having insignificant following of no consequence in Srinagar is always trying to create divide among the populace of Jammu to remain in news and he is doing so on the instructions of his mentors across the border . He further said that no amount threat from such leaders via their mentors across the border including united Jehad council will deter national leaders from opposing elements like Geelani.
Later the activists burnt the effigy of Geelani amidst the slogans of Pakistan Murdabad, Hurriyat conference Murdabad etc.
