Jammu, July 15:A meeting of Chenab Hydro Power Project Workers Union was held in its office at Baghliar under the chairman ship of its president Nasir Ali.
The members said that working people of erstwhile Doda has full faith on the Centre of Trade Union (CITU) led by comrade Mohd Yousaf Tarigami its state president and MLA.
Comrade Tarigami had always raised the issues of workers working in different Hydro Projects and National High way four lanes from Jammu to Kashmir both inside the Legislative Assembly and out side the Assembly.
He is the only ray of hope for the working class of J&K State.
Some vested interests who are working as the agents of big companies and ruling classes are trying to tarnish the image of the leadership of CITU. There is great resentment against such elements among the workers and unemployed youth of this area.
CHPWU condemns the anti workers and pro management statements of such people. Comrades Mohd Maqbool, Abdul Latief, Rajinder Singh, Nishat Qazi, Mohd Irshad, Mohd Rafiq Sarpanch, Pervaiz Ahmed also participated in the meeting.
