| BSF School Football: Nehru House blanks Tagore | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 15: Nehru House blanked Tagore House by making it an emphatic 5-0 win to strengthen their position in the ongoing Inter-House (U-19) Senior Division Football Tournament at BSF School ground, Paloura, near here today.
The game was completely dominated by the Nehru House right from word go. It was Lakhwinder Singh, who opened the account in the 15th minute, followed by second goal coming from Koushal George in 27th minute of the match.
Leading by two goals to nil in the first half, Nehru House further improved the lead after the breather when Khalid Bashir kicked in third goal in 44th minute through a plenty kick.
Showing their complete domination over opponents, Nehru House added two more goals in the later stages of the match. While Rakesh Roshan netted the ball in the 62nd minute, Nishan scored in the 70th minute to make it a resounding 5-0 win.
In today’s match, Principal of BSF School, Dr S S Khokar was special guest, who witnessed the game and encouraged both the teams for their fighting spirit. Amarjit Singh and Veer Ji Pandita officiated today’s match.
