Army medical camp at Seoj held

Jammu, July 15: A medical camp pioneered by Army was conducted for the Gujjars/Bakkarwals residing in difficult and far flung areas of Seoj (3500 m) under Bhaderwah tehsil, as part of the civic action programme on July 13.
The medical team comprising of a doctor, nursing assistant and support staff provided the much needed specialised medical cover especially to ladies, children and elderly people.
A total of 63 patients were treated including 23 ladies, 18 males and 22 children. Free medicines were distributed to the patients.
The local population and district administration expressed its gratitude to the Army for its concerted efforts in providing free medical aid to them at their door step, in far flung areas of Bhaderwah Tehsil.
