Jammu, July 15: Sikh Welfare Society Jammu & Kashmir has welcomed the petition filed by Nagar Singh in the High Court for getting his narco test conducted in Chopra family murder case.

Singh said that the criminal police nexus and mafia in Jammu has been a serious issue for the civil society during the past years and it is for the first time that in last two years the dedicated and conscious police officers have successfully demolished this nexus but there are many murder mysteries, which need to be unraveled.
Singh made a special reference to the murders of Babli and Daljit Singh of Simbal Camp, Gurdev Singh alias Mantoo and Parminder Singh alias Bitu both brothers of Simbal Morh and Jattu and Kali both brothers of Phalian Mandal Jammu.
It is surprising that during these murders particular police officers were functioning as SHOs in the concerned police stations where these murders were committed.
Singh appealed to the police organization to consider the request of Nagar Singh and conduct his Narco test keeping in view his dubious rags to riches story.
S.Narbir Singh, president Shiromani Youth Akali Dal J&K called upon the state government to keep this pressure on the organized mafia so that there is no re-growth and mushrooming of crime in Jammu.
He said that a law should be enacted to confiscate the properties of criminals acquired by dubious means and criminal activities.
He requested the police to have detailed Narco about the alleged forty seven murders committed by Nagar Singh and company during past fifteen years with the help of goondas in uniform and those police officers who were at the helm of affairs.
Mohinder Singh, chief organisor Bhai Kanhiya Nishkam Sewa Society complimented the government led by Omar Abdullah for fully backing the police organization in taking the mafia dons head on and allowing the law and order authorities to go whole hog against the organized mafia.
Singh further said that as on date the civil society is at peace and living a non-violent and fearless life.
S.Paramjit Singh, president, AIISF demanded from the government to constitute a commission of enquiry to investigate the mafia police nexus and also the acquisition of huge wealth by Nagar Singh and other goonda elements in a short span of time. Singh said that it would go a long way in setting an example for future.
