JKEJAC threatens Government | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 15: Jammu and Kashmir employees today threatened the government to agree to their demands by July 17 or they face protest. Employees have threatened to protest on July 18 if state government failed to fulfil their demands including arrears according to the 6th pay commission, policy for regularisation and enhancement of retirement age. “We will march toward civil secretariat here and hold massive protest demonstration on July 18 if the government failed to concede to the agreement of demands before 17 July,” Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action committee (JKEJAC) State Coordinator Ram Kumar Sharma told reporters. He said government should grant 6th pay commission arrears, implement policy for regularisation of daily wage workers, enhance retirement age from 58 to 60 and remove pay anomalies.
