| Inter Collegiate Men Volleyball 2006 | | DC Bhaderwah trounces DC Rajouri in inaugural tie | |

Degree College (DC) Bhaderwah defeated DC Rajouri in the inaugural match of the Inter Collegiate Men Volleyball tournament, which was inaugurated at P.G. College for Boys, Udhampur by DDC Udhampur, O P Kalandria. 24 teams from different colleges affiliated to University of Jammu (JU) are participating in this tournament.
Bhaderwah Spikers made a strong comeback into the match by successively penetrating the defense of Rajouri despite losing the first two sets to register victory by 3-2 sets. Kushi Mohd, played an outstanding game with his powerful smashes for Bhaderwah team. The final score stood at 22-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-9.
Earlier, Dr. Rishi, Principal welcomed the chief guest and the other dignitaries. He also took DDC, Kalandria to different areas of the college and informed him about the future plans for making Kabaddi, Basketball and Lawn tennis grounds. The tournament is being organized by Govt P G College, Udhampur under the auspices of JU.
