SRINAGAR, July 16: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Youth Federation (JKDYF) activists held a protest demonstration on price rise, corruption and unemployment at Shopian. The demonstrators were shouting slogans against recent rise in prices of diesel, LPG and Kerosene. They were also shouting slogans against corruption and unemployment.

Criticizing the Central government for burdening the common people with increase in the oil prices at a time of high inflation, the State President JKDYF Mohammad Iqbal Wani demanded that the increase in the prices of diesel, LPG and Kerosene be immediate rolled back. Wani urged upon people to strengthen the movement against anti-people policies of the state and central governments.
