Thrilling response to ‘Punergathan’ in Vijaypur, Ramgarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 16: The Panthers Party continued its mass contact with the Dogras spending two days in Vijaypur constituency which has its last MLA before re-organisation. The PGIC leaders namely Bansi Lal Sharma and its president, Anita Thakur state general secretary, shri Jagdev Singh coordination secretary, S. Hari Singh district president Jammu rural, Naveen Bali publicity secretary and others visited Nandpur, Ramgarh, Vijaypur and other pockets of the area. The Panthers Party leaders conveyed to the people that the Dogras of the Jammu shall not get justice as long as Abdullah family continues to rule against the wishes of the people. The Panthers Party leaders in their strong campaign reminded the people about the discrimination done by Kashmiri rulers. They said that Central University Jammu has no Vice-Chancellor and no institutions. There is no delimitation of Assemblies when delimitation was held in the whole county. Rs. 150 crores was wasted for shifting civil secretariats from Jammu to Srinagar, Rs. 300 crores spent for shifting secretariat against the wishes of the people of Jammu as well as Srinagar. They said there are two universities but one School for Board. 21 persons killed in July 1931 during Dogra’s Maharaja rule are called martyrs whereas those killed NC-Congress government in Jammu (students), Kishtwar, Poonch and even in Kashmir are not martyrs. Only re-organisation (Punergathan) can remove discrimination. The Punergathan Implementation Committee (PGIC) enrolled more than 300 persons in Vijaypur constituency alone.
