Advocate escaped bid on life at Gadigarh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu,July 16:- Surinder Singh Bharti , advocate High Court of J&K and zonal president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) zone Kalakote (Rajouri)escaped bid on life when four notorious persons attacked upon him with sharp edged weapons at Mahakali Nagar village Gadigarh (Jammu)on July 15. One attacker has been identified as "Lucky Badmash" of Gadigarh(Jammu)while three others have been identified as Sanjeev Kumar alias Vicky s/o Bhajan Lal r/o Khargala (Kalakot), Subash Singh s/o unknown r/o Khargala(Kalakote) and Mohd.Shabir s/o Shamas Din r/o.Baroota(Kalakote). The advocate stated that initially Lucky attacked upon him with sharp edged weapons which was retaliated by one Sat Paul and as Lucky returned back, he came back with other three persons hailing from Kalakote. Bharati stated that he immediately informed to the police and a police party from PP Gadigarh rushed to the spot and rescued him, later all fled away from the area while taking the advantage of darkness. Surinder Singh Bharati,Advocate further told that he has some political rivalry at Ka1akote(Rajouri)with the NC party and these attackers were pushed from Kalakote, because all the attackers were threatening him either to join National Conference(NC) or work under the leadership of NC, MLA, Rashpaul Singh and his brother Randhir Singh otherwise they will kill him. Meanwhile after lodging report in Police Post Gadigarh Bharati also called on DIG, Jammu and narrated whole story.
