JAMMU, July 16: Foiling a cattle smuggling bid, police today apprehended six persons at Nagrota and Jhajjar Kotli while they were unlawfully taking 55 milch animals in five trucks to Kashmir. Five of them were identified as Abbas Ahmad, Ghulam Mustafa, Manzoor Ahmad, Mushtaq and Tariq, all residents of Kashmir. Their trucks were also seized, police said. Police had registered a case against them. |
