| Telecom facilities snapped | | ‘When would the BSNL wake up’, customers ask | |
BHADERWAH, NOV 27 Bhaderwah, known as Chotta Kashmir, about 150 kms from winter capital of the state is totally cut off from the rest of State due to the defective telephone services of BSNL since last two days. The people especially business community is facing tremendous difficulties to carry out their daily business. Some senior leaders of the business community had approached the BSNL authorities, but no action has been taken so far leaving the customers at lurch. The reports said that this is not the first time when the customers are facing this problem despite paying for the service. All their efforts have failed and the customers are planning to say good bye to the service which has made them to suffer for not fault of theirs. ‘When the country is making rapid advances in the telecom sector with stiff competition from the private agencies, the BSNL is fleecing the customers with false promise of providing the best facility to its customers, the people allege’. Cautioning the BSNL authorities to wake up from the deep slumber as otherwise the customers would be forced to raise this issue in the consumer forum as also in the Telephone Adalat .
