State Govt failed to fulfil expectations of people: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Billawar, July 17: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) exhorted its workers to come on streets to expose misdeeds of National Conference led coalition in the State. Party observed that Omar Abdullah led regime has failed to come up to the expectation of the people. Addressing a meeting at Billawar, general secretary of PDP, Thakur Balbir Singh said that State has been plunged into chaos as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has failed to identify himself with the common people of the State. He said that failure of the Government to connect itself with the people would have serious repercussions in future as alienation of masses has been increasing with every passing day. “Instead of identify with the common masses the National Conference government has even increased alienation among the people through its anti-people steps”, he said and added that government has failed to assess the ground situation in the State. Calling upon the he party workers to educate the masses about the misdeeds of this government, PDP general secretary said that those ruling the State were not aware of the aspirations of the people due to their distances with the common masses. PDP leader further said that it was all due to the wrong policies of this regime that miseries of the people have been increased manifold since formation of this regime. PDP leader pointed that this regime was formed without any programme and policy and instead of solving basic problems of the common masses Ministers of this government have been befooling the people by making false promises. Cautioning people against gimmicks of ruling National Conference, he said that government has been trying to hoodwink the people by raking up some irrelevant issues to divert attention of the people towards its failure. He said that National Conference led coalition regime has totally failed to solve basic problems of the common masses.
