| Three persons booked under Excise Act | | |

TO check the illicit trade of liquor, the Border police Jammu conducted a series of raids under the supervision of SSP Rajinder Gupta and arrested three persons and booked them under the Excise Act.
Senior Superintendent of Police Border said that during the raid in RS Pura, two persons namely Romesh Lal son of Gian Chand resident of Satrayian RS Pura and Darshan Lal son of Bakshi Ram of RSPura were arrested under section 50-A of the Excise Act.
He said one Ashok Kumar son of Gurdas Singh resident of Kotli Shah Dulllah was booked under the Act at Miran Sahib.
