Soz talks about JK specific CBMs | Addresses gatherings at Khag, Beerwah | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 17:-The civil society of Pakistan have identified confidence building measures (CBMs) that can be undertaken to take forward the resolution procss. These measures include unrestricted use of Mobile Phones, unrestricted air travel, relief and relaxation in the visa regime, establishment of India Pakistan Parliamentary Forum, unrestricted exchange of jurist, writers and others and promotion of an optimum level of trade between the two countries. This was stated by Professor Saifuddin Soz MP (Former Union Minister) & President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee while addressing gatherings at Khag and Beerwah in District Budgam today. He was accompanied by Mr. Taj Mohi U Din Hon’ble Minister of PHE, Flood Control and Irrigation, Mohd Muzaffar Parray Senior Vice President, Abdul Majid Padder Vice President, Nazir Ahmad Khan Secretary, Master Mohd Maqbool District President, Indu Pawar Mahila Congress President Dr. Rashid Chowdhray NSUI President, Ms. Jawahira, District President Mahila and other, these leaders also addressed the gatherings. Responding to Developmental needs of Khag and Beerwah areas , Soz assured the people that the demands like Degree College at Khag, Sub District Hospital, shifting of Zonal Education Office Khag from Magam to Khag, completion of the park at Kastoorwan would be met as soon as possible. He (Prof. Soz) sanctioned Rs. 5.00 Lakhs from his MP LAD fund for development of the Sports field at Khag. Further improvement of Medical facilities at main Hospital Beerwah, widening of roads, institution of Munsiff Court at Beerwah and Development of sports field will also be met . He also sanctioned Rs. 5.00 Lakhs from his MP LAD fund for initial development of sports field at Beerwah. Soz told these gatherings that he was also hopeful that dialogue process on New Delhi - Islamabad axis and New Delhi - Srinagar Axis would gather momentum in the days to come. Earlier Taj Mohi U Din gave details of PHE and Irrigation Schemes that have already been undertaken in the area within an amount of Rs. 63.00 Crores. He(Taj) also assured the gatherings that their demands in respect of drinking water and irrigation would be met.
