| IGP Jammu inaugurates cricket tournament | | |  Early times report
Jammu, July 17: An impressive and colorful function was organised for inaugural ceremony of the J&K secular cricket day and night tournament. The inauguration was done by I.G.P Jammu Dilbag Singh at the JDA complex, adjoining the river Tawi.
Addressing the gathering, I.G.P praised the efforts of the organizers on organising such a big stage for the youth interested in the field of sports. He asked the organizers to organize more and more such functions to boost the young talent and utilize their talent in better way, so that sport culture could be increased in Jammu province and conveyed his best luck to all 12 teams participating in the tournament.
S.S.P Jammu Anand Jain, who was the guest of honor on the occasion praised the J&K police for encouraging NGO’s for organising sports and cultural activities in state. He promised to support the organizers for further sports activities.
