Protest hold at Sarwal, people raised various demands | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 17: Massive protest, demonstrations, rally was held at Sarwal chowk to high light the problems against the failure of the government to provide basic amenities particularly to the people of Jammu “west constituency”.
“Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement took out a protest rally, from Sarwal, New plot, Amphalla, Janipur high court road, to various parts of city. Hundreds of irate traders, residents of various localities of Jammu west constituency under the banner of Jammu West Assembly Movement joined the protest rally against the coalition Government.
The angry people raised the slogans against the power PDD and PHE departments.
Addressing the protestants at Sarwal Chowk Sunil Dimple urged the Chief minister Omar Abdullah that no development is taking place in the Jammu city and particularly in the west constituency has left behind in the pace of the development. He said people of the Jammu city are being deprived of the basic amenities.
Sunil Dimple demanded re-assembly election of the Jammu West Constituency .
Dimple demand for the installation of the New Receiving Grid station of 20 MV at Janipur and demanded funds for the improvement of poor electrification system prevailing in the Jammu city.
He also demand to install traffic signal lights in the Jammu city and on the 58 spots identified by the Governmnet as the work is pending of traffic signal lights.
Dimple alleged and said the “rising prices” have crossed all the limits and the ration Atta, Rice , Sugar, LPG gas, Kerosene oil is not available on the Government depots and the weaker section is facing lot of problems for the ration on depots and have to stand in cues for days and hours together.
Sunil Dimple announced that the demonstrations will continue till against the failure of the Government to provide basic amenities to the common man of the state and against the discrimination with the Jammu region.
