| Cop sustains injuries, militants fire upon ambush party | | |

A police personnel sustained injuries when some anti-national elements fired upon the ambush party near Betal falling under Police station Budhal in Rajouri district today.
A Police spokesman said that Police party of Police Post Draj laid an ambush near Betal and during the ambush some ANEs fired upon the ambush party as a result one police constable Mohammed Yousaf sustained gun shot wounds of his left shoulder and was evacuated to Rajouri hospital.
Two columns of 60 RR and the Police have launched a hunt to apprehend the ANEs who are reported to have fled away after resorting to firing on the ambush party. The search was on when the reports last came in.
In the meanwhile a civilian sustained injuries in a grenade attack in the general area of Chhatral 4 KM North of Mendhar in Poonch district today. The locals later evacuated the injured Farid Khan son of Abdul Qadir Khan to civil hospital Mendhar.

Man murdered by brothers-in-law
JAMMU NOV-27- Murad Ali son of Jamal Din resident of Bain Chennani is reported to have murdered by his three brothers-in law, while a labourer got killed when hit by a stone in Banihal area.
A police spokesman said that during the intervening night of 25-26, Murad Ali of Bain Chennai was murdered by his brother in laws namely Shamas Din, Alief Din, Mohammed Bashir sons of Haji Bashir of Bain Chennani. The reasons for this heinous crime have not been ascertained as yet. However, the Police has registered a case and started investigations.
