Court denies pre-arrest bail to former Chief Manager SFC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July-18 (JNF):- Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Pawan Dev Kotwal today dismissed the pre-arrest bail application of Rajinder Parshad then Chief Manager allegedly involved in auction of mortgaged property with SFC.
CPO Parshtom Sharma appearing for the VOJ filed report and objections in the application in which it has been submitted that applicant including Aijaz Iqbal then MD SFC presently Commissioner/Secretary ARI& Training Dept have been booked u/s 5(2) r/w section 5(1) (d) PC Act 2006 and 120-B, 468, 471 RPC. CPO opposed the bail application on the ground that allegation against the applicant were serious. As per the VOJ cause huge loss has been caused to the state exchequer by the applicants and other accused persons by hatching conspiracy to benefit the private persons in auction of mortgaged property with the SFC by showing no minimum auction price as per the directions of the High Court and even tempering with the valuation certificate and other records, the applicant and other accused persons have derived benefits and gains. The court after hearing both the sides denied bail to the applicant.
