Court denies bail to 4 murder accused

Jammu, July-18 (JNF):- Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu RN Wattal today rejected the bail application of Rajesh Kumar Babbar, Kapil Dev, Vishal Singh Salathia & Neeraj Kumar who are allegedly involved in Sohail Bhat murder case who was employee of Unitec Company.

According to the police case that during enquiry it transpires that deceased was an employee Nokia and was posted under the command of Unictec as Technician and had good reputation among his top senior at New-Delhi. His immediate Boss Manager & Ors did not want to see his reputation in the company and always sent his attendance late to his superiors and also demoralized him. Rajesh Babbar & Ors wanted to kick the deceased out of the company so adjust a man of their own choice. On the day of incident when the deceased came in the office and verified from Rajesh Babbar for his attendance, he totally refused to forward the documents in the company which resulted in the exchange of words and laid to scuffle between them and later Surinder Singh, Dheeraj Kumar, Vishal Singh and Kapil Dev Singh joined hands with Rajesh Babbar and started beating the deceased which resulted the death of the deceased on spot. The inquest proceedings culminated into registration of FIR NO 34/2011 u/s 304 (Culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 147 RPC and accused petitioners were arrested.

The court after hearing PO Yogesh Bamba who opposed the bail application on various grounds and the parent of deceased who had lost his lonely son at the hands of applicants are stated to be mentally disturbed and shattered and dismissed the bail application as the applicants have failed to curve out a prima-facie case for bail.
