PTU condemns lathi charge on govt. employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 18: Chairman Panthers Trade Union (PTU) S. Daljit Singh strongly condemned the brutal lathi charge on the government employees who were demonstrating in favour of the demands at Srinagar. He described the action of police undemocratic, unjustified and barbaric and demands criticism every peace loving people fighting for justice and their right. Panthers Trade Union and Panthers Party warned the state government to fulfill the demands such as release of arrears of 6th pay commission, confirmation of daily wagers, adhoc, and contractual employees agitating government employees forthwith to provide peaceful atmosphere in the much disturbed state. They also demanded the resignation of coalition government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as it has failed on all the fronts. S. Daljit Singh has demanded immediate release of all the arrested demonstrators and medical treatment to the all injured in the brutal lathi charge.
